Three Lakes-Brule River from Snowtracks.com:
Reported By: Three Lakes – Brule River Trails
Date of Report: 01/13/2012
Trail Conditions: Good
Snow Cover: 9″ on the official Three Lakes gauge
Area Report: 5″ total new snow from the latest event. Additional light snow is forecast for today and tomorrow. High temps in the teens and low twenties through the weekend. With the solid base in most areas, trails are back to the “Good” side. Since we are still relatively low on snow, continue to expect the mixed bag of conditions. some fair, some good and some very good. Swamps have a little more freezing to do, but are not a problem. Roaded trails are back to good. Lakes are great and seeing some drifting with the gusty winds. Grooming activity is back to normal. No excuses, get out and ride! Have fun and be safe!
Eagle River from SnoEagles:
Trails in Eagle River...Sno-Eagles Country are in GOOD riding conditions! Great to report that.
Snow totals were heavier east & south of Eagle River. Lake Snow off & on today & Saturday.
Temperature have dropped. We have already reached the high for today at 14. Single digits tonight. 18 tomorrow & single digits again tomorrow night.
Grooming resumed last evening for the 1st time in a while! Grooming again tonight.
The weather looks cool for the next few days with temps rising into the mid 20's by next weekend. Get you sleds out and start riding.
